Does the location of your property managers office matter?

07-Feb-2013

We are living in time poor days and almost 99% of all prospective tenants use the website when looking for rental properties.  Enquiry comes through realestate.com, domain.com and our company website or our facebook page.

During a tenancy tenants pay rent electronically or by direct debit and they log repairs online also.  It makes processes so much easier for everyone involved.

The need to visit a property manager’s office to pay rent or to view properties for lease in the shop front window is a concern of the past.

Many successful Property Management offices don’t have shop front windows today purely due to the online success.  Our office in particular had a large shop front for many years and found that after moving premises 2 years ago, our enquiry has not dropped.  If anything it has increased due to our online presence.

Because of this we can successfully lease and manage properties in a reasonably large geographical area.  At "home" we manage properties from Terrigal through to Toukley and out to Ettalong and back.  We also have agents who live in different locations across the Central Coast which makes for easy management and inspections of properties.

Tenant and landlord clients are always welcome to visit to our agency and we are proud to have an ultra modern office that is very welcoming, but the location of the agent is no longer as important as it once was.
